It looks like sea ice will be the 2nd lowest on record, behind 2012 but ahead of 2007. Last winter and spring featured anomalous melt conditions, while the summer was favorable for maintaining ice. 

 

Any predictions on when the melt ends this year and thoughts for what lies ahead?

But is the warming a natural cycle, man caused, or both?
