0.4" of snow and sleet here. 0.72" of moisture so far. Have no idea what part of that was snow though. Probably like 5-6:1 ratio.

Now all rain.

Rain all night. But somehow Dubuque managed to cancel school. And I am left with a normal day. Shucks! Lol

I had one of those days once. But it was no college classes. About 2" of slop fell and didn't even stick on the roads!

Standing water everywhere already this morning. Hydroplaning a real danger today.

Roads are all wet/slushy now.

As the rain began around 4:00am this morning I heard a clap of Thunder and the precip intensity increased.  That cooled the column and it was pouring sleet/snow mix as well.  Sitting at 34F...what a slop fest this morning.  I just measured the snow depth and surprisingly I'm still sitting at around 10" believe it or not.  Looks like the snow really soaked up that rain this morning.  I do think it will melt a few inches as dew points/temps rise this afternoon when we get into the warm sector of the storm.  It shouldn't last that long so snow melt wont be as bad I think.

Up 1° here, starting to get some fog forming.

If that convection holds together it's going to fill up the streets even more with water.

Your area is under a blizzard warning and this happens, just nuts! This morning was wild with the snow and wind, just didn't last very long. You guys are going to get hammered. It's some heavy wet snow so everything is just going to get pasted!
