He's gone.

Yeah I'm watching the breaking news.

I gotta feel a bit bad for the guy. He was a great person, great role model and I know his players will be good people because of him.

He was just a horrible football coach.

I agree. Kinda one of those mixed situations. I'm sure he'll be a coordinator somewhere or something.

I think he's done coaching. He's said before Nebraska will be his last gig. He gets to enjoy us paying him till 2021, so I think he'll go back to Corvallis and live out the rest of his life there.

I've never posted in here, but seeing North Korea launch a succesful missle that, if directed, could easily hit anywhere in the USA, it made my stomach drop. I don't know how to feel about it, a crazy regime like North Korea capable of nuclear warfare is terrifying. Can someone please explain to me why I should or shouldn't be scared right now? Because I'm scared.

No reason to be. The scariest part is that this is literally a nuclear version of Dumb and Dumber, only the leaders are Dumb and Dumber. NK needs to realize that if they mess with us, the entire world will be on their a**.

I agree. Nothing to be afraid of. Nothing you can do about it anyway. I've got better things to do than be afraid.

I'm putting my life at much greater risk Everytime I enter the NASCAR race that is the I-94 interstate. I'm pretty sure NK is smart enough to know they'd be committing suicide if they launched an actual nuke on anybody. There's been much greater threats in the past. Try not to over-stress about it.

Thanks Obama! We'll see what happens when 2018 hits and Dotard's policies actually take affect. Of course he hasn't really passed any real legislation.....

Of course, maybe if the racist, mentally unfit, piece of garbage, bigot didn't spend his time tweeting anti-Muslim videos like he did this morning, among other disgusting crap, he'd get more done. What a disgrace to the office of the presidency.

I think having a committee pick teams for the college football playoff is a total joke. That said, here are my winners today:

OU over TCU

Georgia over Auburn (very close!)

Ohio State over Wisconsin

Clemson over Miami

Final Four:

Clemson

Oklahoma

Georgia

Alabama (thanks to Ohio state win)

Hah! Nailed it! Except I thought Georgia-Auburn would be a lot closer.

Nobody cares but me but I am hardly ever right about anything - and I sure don't have any snow to talk about - so I thought I'd celebrate for sec.   B)  :D

Just need OU and Clemson to handle their business and everything will be ok. Everyone really knows what Bama and the SEC are this year whether they'll say it or not. I'd honestly rather see Wisconsin, Ohio State or USC there than seeing a team that lost its conference and didn't earn it's right to be there either through scheduling, conference strength or play.

Yes that was bad scheduling when bama planned to play the #3 ranked team in the country to open the season.

Ill giggle when Georgia puts Baker to bed

If OU loses, it won't have much to do with our offense. They won't stop him. Just questionable as to whether or not we will stop them.

Looks like a rough outing. Not. Mayfield's stats vs ISU.

Oct 7 2017-ISU 38 @ OKLA 31

CMP 24 ATT 33

CMP% 72.7 PaYd 306

YPA 9.27 PaTD 2

INT 0 RAT 170.6

RuYd 57 RuTD 1

I'd hate to see what happens when he's not shut down.

so what your saying is iowa states 3rd string Qb had better stats and won the game. 18-24 343 yds and 3 tds 14.3 ypa

They come to Lincoln next September. Should be fun having their thug fans in town. Remember when their student section got ejected? Or when a CU fan knocked out a Texas Tech cheerleader with ice?

I remember the student section one. I remember watching the infamous 5th down also. Wasn't that 1993 or '92? Either way, cheapest championship ever.

I'm about like you though, I miss the old conference days. Never hated Nebraska at all even being a lifelong OU fan though and still don't. Some of the best old games I've seen were OU-Nebraska. I always respected the way they played when I was a kid.

Edit: 1990. Cripes. I was really young then. Good memory though I guess.

We lost a lot of good football in the Big 8/12 breakup. OU-NU gone. NU-CU annual day after Thanksgiving day gone. KU-MU, KSU-MU gone.

Most Nebraska fans put on a happy face with their move to the B1G, but they lost all of their natural and historic football rivalries in the move and have not had much success. The B1G will always be about Michigan and Ohio State. Scott Frost will be a good coach but I don't see NU returning to their glory days while in the B1G.

Just MHO...YMMV
