It's been down since yesterday according to the radar status message:

361

NOUS63 KLOT 272103

FTMLOT

Message Date: Feb 27 2017 21:04:27

The KLOT WSR-88D will be offline Until Further Notice due to equipment failure.

Replacement parts have been backordered, and may not be here for a few days.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. That's the last time I quote a TV met not named Skilling.

Not much IMBY, but that could change later on this afternoon and especially tonight as colder air is poised to rush in and take over. Idk, but tbh, I dont want any snowshowers at all. To me now, that is a nuisance type, even that 1 inch expected. If it was a foot+, then hell yeah, bring it on!

Should end up with 5-6 inches of snow here.

Already have 2-3 on the ground and HRRR showing 3-4 more.

Is the snow fluffy in nature???  Temps are in the upper 20's so I'd assume ratios are pretty good.  That defo band is healthy looking.

Amazing how the baroclinic zone has been in about a perfect spot for us the majority of the season.  Only an 1.5 here.  Development of the backside was just late to the party.

Yeah, we are probably running average-above average in snowfall this year while Milwaukee/Madison etc are way below normal.

Wow, they're going to blow snow for me. There's nothing on the ground in lake geneva area but they're saying we might do better tomorrow. As long as we bring in some cold air I'm going to be super happy at this point. And I'm glad to see some of you finally getting some decent snow, hopefully the next system can inch southward a tiny bit for me.

I'm hoping for a little tick south too. The radar looks like a snow jaw around Milwaukee right now - hoping it clamps shut!

0.5 to 1+ inches fell across the southern part of SWMI on the backside. Not as robust as the last event. More nuisance dust-ups. #nuisancedustings are not winter.

24hr drop from 55F to 28F pretty impressive for this area though I don't need or want that at this point..kinda worthless wx tbh
