To note though - we should have a few days beforehand as land starts to deform and sink significantly quicker, and then several hours after the collapse before any wave hits us. I'm a bit more worried about a possible flank collapse on a Hawaiian island.

I'm hoping La Palma calms down but there have been volcanos under the sea in the Canaries that have erupted over the past 5-8 yrs. it's been active in general. Definitely should be monitored closely.
