Snow intensifying in far eastern Iowa and into northern Illinois and much of Wisconsin. Models consistently showing heavier snow in those areas so seems to be right on track. I’ll be in a lull for awhile here.

Even after the afternoon update my point still says ‘snow, mainly after 4pm.’ It’s been snowing since 10am. No acknowledgement of the current snow.

Congrats on cashing in from this clipper so far. Looks like we might get a decent burst of snow here in Omaha this evening as well... just started to snow here lightly. Looks like maybe an inch or so possible here.

I'm soo happy as near blizzard conditions have persisted for three hours and the snow is piling up nicely...some good luck as a heavy deformation band remains stationary over the area.

 

Everything is soo pretty, pristine, & picturesque...just like the Overlook Hotel as I peer off my deck and look out towards the canyon to my south.

WWA expanded to include my county in Iowa. Expecting 2-4 inches tonight. Would love to get 4 inches, but feel like we will get closer to 3 inches for a total. Light snow has just started here.

For some reason DVN just now issued a winter wx advisory for my county and the rest of the area. Not sure what changed. If anything I’m discouraged by the radar. Looks like the heavier bands will Miss here in pretty much every direction.
