February Weather in the Pacific Northwest

Picturing this group playing football presents an entertaining mental image. Hail Marys and fumbles galore. Jim as the mascot. Tim as a cheerleader for the other team. Dewey up in the nose bleed section...

You got me actually laughing out loud.

Average is off a bit this year. Tore my acl and meniscus last spring--hard to plant. But things are starting to improve.

I'm terrible. My wife used to bowl with her parents a lot growing up and she smokes me every time. I call her Munson.

Definitely not. SEA is not pulling out a high of 25.

Why would anyone make a statement like that. The record lows for the days in question are 25-30....

I took my 5 year old bowling on her birthday and she beat me...

Doesn't take too much of a leap to realize he is probably talking about the upper airmass.

Hard to tell with Jim.

Ouch...one of the guys on my team has plantar fasciatis, another broke his leg in September, but both are somehow powering through. I've been lucky, never suffered a serious injury, just a couple lower back nerve tweaks.

A forum for the end of the world.

This is true. Considering he was talking about temps "well below freezing" on Sunday.

The overly-aggressive WRF temp maps in these situations get him every time.

So with the Euro not starting it could mean one of two things:

1. It's just so d*mn snowy it can't even handle it.

2. It wants to save us the pain of seeing zero.

Sometimes I think the people at the CFS And Euro companies watch this forum and like to see us go nuts and delay runs from time to time to watch us freak.

Plantar hurts--I've been lucky to never have it. But as my knee heals, my gait has changed--now my hip is involved. Sucks to be old. Old fat men should never play basketball--which is how I got hurt in the first place.

That's probably the most realistic goal. Some pretty sad records...probably one of the weakest periods on record during the cold season.

Would not be surprised if SLE doesn't set any records. Back to back 18's in 2006 for the 19th and 20th,.

23 and 22 respectively at PDX.

The 21st-24th are the real low hanging fruit down here...

. I tore my acl and meniscus I’m 2013 playing basketball, it was an intense rehab and sucked but the rehab got me into working out a ton now I am a personal trainer on the side. I thought that was the worst injury you could have until this fall when I developed plantar fasciitis... it’s the most painful nagging injury I have had. I haven’t been able to run or hoop since before thanksgiving. Constant pain... I’m finally getting an injection and X-ray Monday.

I also got really painful sciatica after my acl rehab it was miserable. Try yoga it! Stretching helps the sciatic hip pain

My dad had recurring PF flare ups since I was in middle school or so. He found a chiropractor a few years ago who did some indirect treatments that eliminated it almost completely for about five years now.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.
