We have about .6 on the ground. Trees limbs snow capped. Roads clear except in shaddy spots. Nice dry snow, temp 32.8 3/4S.

Looks like the strongest banding is about to arrive here as we move past 330pm..

Sky is darkening/changing shade, wind picking up a little bit as snowfall rates begin to increase.

Holy cow, it’s going bonkers. Under 1/4mi visibility and sticking to everything.

This band is legit.

Closing in on an inch here. That was fast, considering we’re still above freezing and still had wet ground as recently as 3pm.

Down to 33.1/31 as of 4:13pm. Would love to drop a degree or two more and avoid that dryslot to the south, but alas..

Yeah, looks like the big daddy band will arrive right at the end, towards 5pm. Colder, drier air will filter in after sunset.

This has woken up my appetite for a real blizzard. I desperately want another HECS. Three feet of the good stuff, starting as 35 degree paste, ending as 15 degree powder, zero visibility, and 70mph winds to go, please. ❤️🥶☃️😂

Here she comes! Must be intense because RadarScope picked up on a velocity signature. Lol.

Finished with about 1.1” on the ground (with compaction).

Nice little event, solid burst at the end to make up for the warm/mixy start. Now attention turns to the Arctic front tomorrow.

Potential for heavy squalls and 50-60mph gusts right along the front.

Low was 14.5*F here this morning, now warming rapidly ahead of the Arctic front. Wind advisory starts at 9AM but big gusts probably arrive midday.

Up to 19.4/16.
