39 degree drizzle for the rest of the month...yes bring on spring!
30 degree snow...spring can wait a little longer.
How about a mixture of cool wet/cold dry weather? That's what models are showing...

Ended up with a high of 33.4F today, first above freezing temperatures since last Sunday afternoon for my weather station; pretty amazing for February. Looks like some of the snow has fallen off the trees, but not all of it. Things are freezing up quickly tonight under the clear skies. Looked like this in the morning.

How do you think things will be tmrw?
Not liking our chances, going to be just a little bit too warm and we don't have the benefit of cold air damming that places further north on the island have. We need the airmass to dry out considerably for more than a cm of slush.

Nice to see it below freezing. Freezing this stuff up at night is essential to make it last a long time.
The GFS ensemble is certainly trending colder again. Tonight's run shows a solid week of -6 to -8 means for Seattle after this brief warmup. Looking more likely this February will be the new standard for WA. That includes ones from the 19th century.

4 to 8 inches for many. To me the 500mb pattern looks like it could bring far more.
