Hawks found the formula. Jimmy G and his receivers cannot beat you. Could look different with Kittle though. Nice to make it a nice division race. Niners have a tough schedule.

Give me a bucket of beer, a fishing pole, and a swiss army knife......I will figure it out!!!

Clowney stats: 12 QB pressures, eight hurries, five QB hits, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a TD after another strip sack.

If Seattle's defense can play like that consistently then they can hang with anyone. Niners have some injuries and are still a really good team, but they were never going to go undefeated.

Niners have to play the Packers, Ravens, and Saints after the Cardinals next week.

That is a tough stretch.   And they play the Ravens and Saints on the road.

And after that stretch... they play the Rams and the Seahawks again.    :)

After a scare last night that required a visit to a Bay Area hospitalTyler Lockett appears to be OK.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters Tuesday the receiver did indeed stay overnight at a Stanford hospital near the 49ers' home of Santa Clara due to severe swelling in his leg, but it was more of a precautionary stay than anything, per 710 ESPN Seattle. The injury shouldn't be a problem for Lockett in the future, Carroll added.

Apparently my wife is less tolerant of my Seahawks negativity late at night. I had to leave for an appointment at halftime so I had recorded the game (luckily I added the 1hr extension) so when I got home at 10pm we watched the second half. My wife was not thrilled since she couldn’t watch the next episode of the battle of the house remodelers or whatever it’s called on HGTV. Anyhow I was doing my normal negative comments and my wife got more and more irritated until she finally asked me what the hell I was doing. I told her it’s the reverse psychology and it wills them to win. She just shook her head in disbelief. It was fun!

What I'm worried about is if Georgia beats LSU in the SEC title game if both teams win their division. If Ohio State and Clemson win out, then it's going to be

Ohio State
Clemson
Georgia
LSU

Oregon I could see be left out even if they win out beating Utah. Heck if Minnesota goes undefeated and beats Ohio State in the Big 10 title game, they probably get in over us.

Yeah Auburns at home so they should win. I like Oregon's chances of making the playoffs, I'd give it over 50% if we win out.

Right now, I would pencil in LSU, Clemson and OSU. Way too much football left to play though. IMO, most likely wrench thrown in would be an undefeated Baylor (probably have to beat OU twice though) Doubtful an undefeated Big 12 team would be left out.

If LSU were to slip up anywhere, that would open up a chance for a second SEC team.

I see a 1 loss Alabama team beating out a 1 loss Oregon.  Fact is Oregon could of and should of beat Auburn, and made it a no-brainer for the committee.  There's still a lot of football left though.

Yeah, oh well. Auburn is now our friend. They also play Alabama at home so need them to come through for us. I can see Clemson stumbling. They play South Carolina on the road. But yeah lots of football left to be played. This is all a mute point if Oregon loses a game the rest of the way. I think the game next week at ASU is going to be tricky.

South Carolina is the only team to beat Georgia....and then they lose to Appalachian State. If I were Clemson, I would really only worry about Wake Forest.

I would rather Auburn lose Saturday to Georgia, beat Alabama and have Georgia lose to LSU in the SEC title game.  Auburn can't win too much. I don't want to see them with 2 top 5 wins down the stretch (and have the head to head with Oregon)
