1.75 month

.50” storm total here, 1.25” for the month. Big difference is on 9/7 federal way got .8 and I only got .1 this side of commencement bay.

Wednesday's system looks quite potent for this early. Some gusts 30-40 wouldn't be out of the question here in the Valley, maybe 40-50 in coastal areas.

Also 1985 was one of the driest years on record for PNW (interestingly, it was a Niña year) and both ends of it were great winters.


1985/86 was ENSO neutral, FWIW. Unless you’re talking about 1984/85?

And yes, I do think it the pattern will trend dry/meridional with time, despite what clown range modeling projects as of this mid-September evening.
