Storms are west today vers the East yesterday still odd movements as we are seeing northwest to west word movement vers the southwest to northeast or west to east movements we see with storms

I’ve never seen so many lightning bugs at once. They’re literally lighting up the woods.

What is up with these bigger lady bugs this year? I have notice them alot literly on the cars.

Interesting, haven’t seen any here.

I’ve noticed the insects are generally running 1-2 weeks late this year, though. Cicadas started singing just before the 4th, and the Katydids started last night. Lightning bugs at peak now. Usually lightning bugs peak around the solstice, cicadas start singing in late June, and Katydids follow two weeks later, around the 4th.

Hilarious. Mostly cloudy day with mediocre upper level temps, yet somehow we’re pushing 90°F. Must be the downsloping flow.

15th consecutive day at/above 90°F. Gonna be another year with 60+ days above 90°F, I think.

yeah seems like an unavoidable 60 + of 90s this summer for sure.
