Been storming here for over 5 hours now. Training thunderstorms and heavy rain on and off since sunset. Lots of strobey intra-cloud lightning. Hasn’t really let up since that first storm.

Approximately 1” of rain so far, with more to come.

Another thunderstorm today. Now 1.81” of rain over the last 24hrs. Much needed as the soil was drying out after a few dry weeks.

Flood warnings up for these training t-storms. Up to 2” has already fallen, with another 1-2” possible.

Heaviest amounts to the west of here.

Looks like a week of beautiful weather coming up!

Highs in the 75-80°F range, with increasing cloud cover as flow becomes easterly. Very nice for mid-June.

Beautiful weather today! Second day in a row.

Currently 75/55 with a stiff east breeze and full sunshine. No milk-white sky, no haze, no towering cumulus congestus that produce no rain and avoid the Sun like the plague. Just perfection. Downright epic for June.

The weather is beginning to change as the ULL moves north and slowly fills in. Clouds are thick now, easterly flow still ongoing, and the smell of rain is filling the air. Still comfortable, but dewpoints are rising.

Rain/thunder-showers begin today, with more instability developing tomorrow-onwards, fueling diurnal convection each afternoon/evening. By Sunday we’ll be back in the mid/upper 80s with gross humidity again.

Looks like you maybe getting some of the action phil according to the radar some loud thunder with these this morning.slow movers to.it looks like the radar from yesterday but sifted east from yesterday.

Yeah it was a heavy rainer with some close lightning. Picked up a quick inch of rain.

Had one bold hit on the east side of the house and blow out some kitchen appliances (toaster and our ancient microwave oven). Nest cam somehow screws up the sequence but it was simultaneous lightning/thunder. The explosion came before we had time to register the lightning strike, lol.

Very heavy rain and a minor microburst here this afternoon along with a few close strikes. Went from 90° to 73° in a flash with a burst of wind from the SE, which is weird for this area.

Big thunderstorm this afternoon. Small hail and winds that crossed severe-threshold. Hit 53mph through the tree canopy..was likely higher in reality.

Large towers erupting almost overhead. Downdrafts are slightly SW of here, just over the river, but can hear the constant thunder. Getting some southerly outflow from them over the last 5mins or so.

Currently ~ 92/72. Hopefully we get some rain to cool things down for the evening.
