Hard to believe this was just less than 24hrs ago. D**n south wind. Could have used at least one more week of sub freezing weather.

Tim wants before and after pics for his spank bank.

I will get him one when I head home...For now he will need to just use the latest EPS.

It's trying again! Looked like the 18z NAM just completely whiffed on any precip over the metro (probably due to sign stealing imho). Euro is pretty anemic as well.

Been a little of suspicious swings and misses by the models lately....

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Just drove through Matlock and it was very heavy hail/snow and turning everything white. Tonight looks like it may be interesting.

FWIW the Euro weeklies are coming out, showing a retrogression signal starting in February. Yes, getting kind of late, but it looks pretty decent by late February. A ways out there of course.

I am at the point where I refuse to believe anything the models put out there. Burned last year and I was burned this year. Until the ground is white I refuse to believe anything now.

I suspect they may not be entirely accurate.

I'm taking the family to Disney world in mid Feb which is against my rule to take a vacation in winter. Probably will be the biggest snowfall here in 700 years.

And we are going to Cabo in mid February...It’s going to happen. I was not thrilled that my wife picked February. Anything after the 2nd week of March is fine. So yeah it’s going to be an even bigger February than last year!!

Once we get past mid-February it kind of takes the top tier arctic blast thing off the table, but I wouldn't mind it. That would probably be a better progression if we wanted something more classically regional.

I would love to see a report from Timmy Supercell. It looks like K-Falls has just been getting nuked with snow today.

You are soooooo unlucky when it comes to snow. I am sure nature will screw you as usual. :)

Yeah I'm going to Arizona in late Feb, so it'll probably be something awesome all month long just to make sure we all get properly screwed at some point.

I'm sure Timmy is enjoying himself in this. Only a little bit envious.

My wife grew up there. Needless to say she does not get as excited about snow as I do.

Good lord. Talk about changing gears.

Good lord indeed. Posts like these are why some people on here give you such a hard time. You constantly post things that only that only you understand without a thorough explanation of what the graphics/graphs means for other people. Surely you wouldn’t give a presentation or write an academic paper base off of this. Better just kept to yourself.
