I think he really meant that one. I’ll never understand people that root for stable polar vortexes and warm zonal flow across the mid latitudes. Zzzz.

Yeah I wasn't trolling. Just observing and good to see someone scoring big!

First day of tanning for me. Feels great on the back patio drinking Bud Light and listening to country music.
More days like today please!!

I did that last week! Only in Mexico at our friends place...And I don’t drink beer...Did have a few margaritas though! And we listened to 70’s rock while playing cards at night. Anyway, now I have the flu! I walked around the outside of my house today and didn’t die so that is a plus!

Long time lurker first time poster. I’m a commercial fishing captain based in Seattle. I’m heading up end of March for my season fishing in gulf of Alaska... hoping the cold/active pattern dies down up there before we head north.

Have a safe journey and if you have time or are able to you should pop on and post the conditions that you experience from time to time!

FWIW, the NAM shows a frontal precip band followed by actual showers on Saturday. Not just a big puke green blob on the radar.
No rain here until Hour 258.

Nice morning. Just spent a few minutes on the sunny deck with my dogs and looked around my property for the first time in about two weeks...Things are popping! Especially the weeds. A vast difference from last year on this date when everything was still incased in glacier hard snow and ice.

I'm heading to Montana next week to work on the "project car" my son just bought, I have a feeling I am going to need a bush hog to get through my lawn when I get home the week after....It could probably do with a mowing now but the yard still too swampy.  Not seeing too many weeds yet but the moss is out of control.

Things I observed this evening around sunset...The birds are way more active, the frogs are loud, and all of my solar lights were turning on and brightly for the first time in a long time!

The birds have been very active this week here... morning and evening.     Definitely a noticeable change.

GFS shows lowland snow 192 hours out. PV at record strength with no sign of breaking down. Here we go again.

GooFuS has corrected itself for March 2, though. In previous runs it showed much colder than average surface temps with 546dam thicknesses, normal 850hpa temps, and shadowed NW flow.

Wonder if I should leave the plow on the mower for a little longer...Hmmmm. I do need to service the mower deck and get it back on soon since the grass is growing..Hmmmm.
Guess I will first worry about taking the Christmas lights down, then go from there.

I would certainly take the 00z GFS. A pair of chilly troughs. Flirtations with lowland snow. Hmmm... PV is about to take a dump soon.

I doubt it ever gets cold again. Especially with thicknesses of 546dm and near average 850s.
