Jesse
Seems the models are having a lot of trouble figuring out how to handle that huge trough later next week. The 12z Euro moves it through, but keeps it mostly north and limits rainfall chances. Which would be climo.

SilverFallsAndrew
Preference war? That post has nothing to do with preferences. Andrew was calling out Jesse for being negative regarding a factual post about the 12Z GEFS... when Andrew has been called out many times by Jesse for being overly-negative. Ironic. Jesse
Hopefully he struggles for quite a while before going under for the last time. Weird. We walked on the frozen edge of the Columbia in December 2005, near Rooster Rock. The ice can get pretty thick even during a relatively pedestrian cold spell like that. Jesse
Deflection detectors are peaking like thermometer will in a couple days! He may appreciate heat more than most of us but I don’t think he deserves to drown over it. Close call, though... Good lord, he was the one who said he wants to try it. It probably would have been doable at the tail end of the '96 blast. Especially if the river was running on the low side and it was in an area with gravel bars.
