Lol, not exactly, but that's ok, if anyone deserves a bone to be thrown their way (a storm), it would be the Omaha and Des Moines peeps right now.

Well this year we have done fine but we have had many other years where we were always in the donut hole but saying that I do feel to peeps in our forum that have been shutout this year and I hope they get their BIG ONE soon!

It might be a monster!  LOL..it would fit the pattern leading up to the largest arctic outbreak of the season.  Gotta watch how this unfolds next day or two.  Euro is way north, I suspect to correct farther south as PV should push it south.

I remember the day when I was learning actual meteorology that they never had snow accumulation cheat maps.

12z Euro is the only model with a northern track, pushes warm front into S WI...mid/upper 30's in N IL/S WI.  Hard to believe it would take such a track.

The Euro so far is on its own. If I can recall the Euro has not done very well with these clipper type systems this year so as of right now I would have to dis-regard until it gets some support. The GFS was kinda in its camp with the lesser qpf.
