Yup latest RAP definitely shifted the heaviest snow showers further north. Should be an interesting night with the strong winds and heavy snow showers.

Will be interesting to see how this front comes through. Not sure there will be any convection with this front but it sure will be interesting.

It's not showing much and the latest runs have really been weakening these snow showers. Radar looks decent over northern Iowa right now...

I feel that blowing bitter artic north wind slamming into my the windows. Here she comes! 30 degrees right now. D**n expected to get down to -4 tonight and -16 tommorow night! We only got about 2 inches early this morning. Thought it be more radar was looking good at 245am and it was snowing heavily but moved way to quickly.

I think NE IL is sitting in the sweet spot for these snow showers as it looks right now. Hopefully returns will be on the increase.

Some super heavy bands in the arctic front. One minute +SN the next flurries.

Yeah snowing very heavily. We are gonna get smoked at least for next 30-45 minutes. Looks like a inch or maybe 1.5 with this band.

Most areas managed 2-3 inches this morning and another inch or two with this system to make it a total of 3-5 inches with both clippers. Not bad.

Pavement cooperated pretty well. Looked like it was melting as I was leaving at 1pm even though snow ended way earlier.

I measured a little over 2" late this morning, so I probably got 2.5", very fluffy so it compacted.

Geeze, its whicked out there right now with the sky pouring down fatty flakes sideways in this wind!

This is almost as intense as that LES band that hit last week...crazy
