That 12 inch + line inching ever so closer Now that be amazing especially on top of what we end up with this clipper. We be close to 1.5 ft if we get into the 12-14 Saturday night storm.If by chance Tuesday storm stays snow were talking easily over 2 + feet.

Step backwards with EURO there. GFS, NAM,GEM look good though. Tomorrow's Oz runs should be pretty telling.

Snow to Mix situation from N IL and points south...only I'd say about the last 3hrs or so are mixed...850's are cold enough for primarily snow before it switches over.

The North trend continues in earnest. 48HR snowfall from the "2nd wave"- mainly rain along /near I-80.

12Z Euro was bad for Nebraska as well I believe. I'd say at this point for Nebraska, don't expect more than 2-4" total from all the waves of this system

12Z GFS through 84 hours not bad for Southern Nebraska.  Local Mets are talking more about the 2nd and 3rd waves than the first.  If wave 1 can over produce I would not be opposed.

Isn't that what happened a lot last winter as well?  Haha, I actually think if the first wave trends north and stronger, it would help suppress this second storm a bit as stronger storms tend to dig troughs a bit more directly after.

It would look like garbage for those west/northwest of Madison, but it's still a sub 1000 low, and not a rainer, so I'll take it.
