Pretty amazing sight to behold...even from behind the computer.  Here's a link from WSI mentioning the possibility of global cooling for next 1-3 years because of the eruption's aerosol reaching the lower stratosphere:

The real show is yet to happen. This one has a lot more in store.

Beautiful but deadly. Some areas already have 2" of ash on the ground.
More coming.

I guess it could be real. Although I will say, I thought the guy should have been a bit more surprised then he seemed! He should have sounded a bit more anxious to get out of there! That's not that far from the summit by the looks of it.
