6.7 aftershock along with many other lesser quakes.
Quake was felt on Mt. Everest and climbers were seriously injured. They are currently trying to evacuate these.
Death toll approaching 2000 and climbing. Many of the historic temples were heavily damaged or destroyed.

Relief is finding its way to the areas closest to the epicenter. I heard that some villages have been cut off since Saturday.

Death toll over 5000 - will likely go up still.

At least this quake didn't happen at night while people were sleeping. The death toll would have been higher for sure.

Big 7.3 aftershock. This one killed over 60 people. Seems the Indian plate is in an active period.

There been numerous aftershock up toward 6.0 in the last 24 hours. If the fault has built up stress, another quake could be possible further east in the near future. Just a logical guess.
