  1. Well, most of the people just does not admit that global warming is responsible for the sever changes in climate and now they are blaming it on hurricane Katrina. There are even places around the world where hurricanes do not appear and how would they define the sever weather changes in those places. I agree with Andy, politicians should just stay away from science. It is the job of the government and politicians to aid public who have suffered because of hurricanes and sever weather. It is not like the hurricanes would restore damages done to the land or the lives if the politicians would pass an argument like this.
  2. Meteorologist always keeps records of weather predictions in the past. With the past archives, they were able to conduct a through analysis on the weather changes. If you want to find the weather forecast for a particular date and time, then you can also check this website: https://www.wunderground.com/history/
  3. An Alaskan volcano experienced its largest eruption to date and created a large ash cloud. For the past several months, Bogoslof Volcano has had minor eruptions, but the most recent was its strongest, sending ashes 35,000 feet above sea level.
  4. The universe is full of stars and planets and NASA is still exploring to find new stars and planets. Astronomers have recently found at least seven Earth-sized planets orbiting the same star 40 light-years away. This discovery outside of our solar system is rare because the planets have the winning combination of being similar in size to Earth and being all temperate, meaning they could have water on their surfaces and potentially support life.
  5. An underwater volcano erupted near Tonga and according to the images that are taken through the satellite, the scientists are saying that it might give birth to a temporary island. The satellite photos revel that a plume of turquoise color bursting from the dark blue sea. But The discoloration is likely caused by gas, rocks and volcanic fluid firing from the volcano.http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/02/09/10/3CFFC54300000578-4207326-An_underwater_volcano_erupting_near_Tonga_could_birth_a_temporar-a-5_1486637082633.jpg
  6. Because of Hawaii volcano a section of sea cliff, top, has fallen into the ocean and the portion of cracked and unstable hill is shown after the bottom collapsed. Even though the government advised the public to stay away from the volcano but some tourists were spotted near it. The collapse of the sea cliff did not diminish the hazards and as long as the volcano continues to flow into the ocean, the area is still quite hazardous.
  7. The Island of Hawai'i is composed of five volcanoes i.e;Mauna Loa and Kilauea–have erupted repeatedly in this century. The interaction of lava flowing into the seawater of Kilauea caused explosions that threw fragments of molten lava high into the air. Some of these incandescent clasts fell on top of the sea cliff behind the ocean entry forming a small spatter cone.
  8. The latest technologies and tools have provided the ability to scientists to observe the sun and other planets. With the latest tools, scientist were able to found holes on the sun but accordion to the report the holes are the dark spots and they are just gaps in the sun's magnetic field, spots where it is weaker than normal, and they form on the outermost layer of the sun. Because the areas are cooler than their surroundings, they appear black on X-ray telescopes. This coronal hole might send streams of particles in the direction of Earth but the earth is safe because our magnetic field protects us but on occasion, it can disrupt satellite and communications systems.
  9. Scientists have now got access to the most detailed real-time images of the Sun with a new upgrade to the world's highest-resolution solar telescope at the Big Bear Solar Observatory. The new capabilities will allow the researchers to study a wider view of solar activity as it's actually happening. With this upgrade now, we'll be able to watch things like massive sunspots stretching some 32,000 kilometers wide (about 20,000 miles) in the Sun's photo-sphere in real-time, whereas previously we could only see a narrower portion of the event without distortion.
  10. Evia, saw over 50 centimeters of snow in some locations, making commuting difficult throughout the mountainous island. Other islands such as Skopelos also saw cold temperatures and snow and the snowfall has turned the Greek island into white color. [
  11. Earthquakes are becoming more frequent around the world. Every day there is an earthquake news on the media. After every higher magnitude earthquake, there are always small after shocks. Today another earthquake was noticed in SOUTHERN ITALY. Earthquake do not only damage the property and lives but it also produce Tsunamis in some-areas which in return cause more damage to the lands.
  12. Waterfalls are also considered one of the most attractive sites in the world. Tourists also enjoy watching the green mountains and waterfalls. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/09/08/article-2035179-0DC4D2F900000578-34_964x605.jpg Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the most oldest park in Croatia. Picturesque park has 16 stunning blue-green Plitvice Lakes, which are separated by natural dams of travertine limestone on the Plitvice plat
  13. It is very uncommon to see double rainbow after or during a rain fall. It is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.
  14. The hurricane that was recorded in 1935 was a very intense storm. It was category 5 hurricane. It killed a lot of people and the damage done to the properties by this hurricane was also tremendous. The weather seems to get worse as time is passing. Rather than saying what others cannot do. It would be better if Hillary explain that what the government has done to help the people who lost their home and has suffered because of Hurricane Mathew.
  15. The tornadoes cause damage where ever it appears. Last week a tornado hit south-central and north-central Kansas. The tornado damaged a lot of property, houses and overturned cars around its path. Kansas, rated the tornado as an EF4 with estimated peak winds of 180 mph.
