  2. Loving the weather out here the past few days…storms are again firing up along the edge of the valley… 531DB04B-0A8A-4F8B-92A9-1A9E7FB88813.mp4
  3. Nice strong storm popped up near my place…took these shots heading east on the 87 hwy… 7BD32A3E-53DF-4AD8-A8F0-B72E4A8B9D12.mp4
  4. It’s great that the ground temps have lowered from all the cold that has settled in and not having to deal with a very warm ground.
  5. Leaving the gym this morning, my neighbors have their family visiting from MN and her kids were at the pool and I said, "its a bit brisk for the pool, huh?" Then I chuckled and said, "wait, your from Minnesota so this is warm for you". I had to mention the fact that MN is in a prime spot to get hit with some snow over the next 10 days. I found out that her daughters husband is a snowplow truck driver. The snow will be welcomed!
  6. Sending + Vibes your way and all your friends in the Upper MW that will welcome this moisture anyway it comes! Of course, I'm sure many will be busting out the snow magnet. Good luck bud!
  7. The ULL continues to spin directly overhead this morning as I was awoken by showers and water dripping off the tile roofs. Nice looking little spin on radar earlier this morning when I saved the gif.
  8. Quite the active Severe Wx across the MW and OHV the past few days...
  9. This has been a fun storm to track out here in the 4 corners region of the U.S. This potent closed low has been putting on a show out here. Just a few days ago, the mets weren't impressed but that changed on Friday as we got hit with rounds of some thundery storms. The mountains got hit pretty good with some White Gold. We will take all the precip we can get from Mother Nature. Skies have cleared and temps have dropped into the mid 40's. Pretty chilly I'd say. It appears this closed low will be pretty much stationary over Arizona today, tomorrow, Monday and into Tuesday! That's incredible. I don't think I've ever experienced a wx pattern like that before where an ULL just sits and spins right overhead. This has been one of the LRC's signature patterns..."The Omega Block"...High over Low...quite fascinating to say the least. We may have the cutoff trough spin for 6 consecutive days overhead...looking into the warmer months ahead, I can foresee troughs being cutoff across the heartland this summer with all the blocking being forecasted in the modeling that I'm seeing.
  10. Palm Sunday whopper BLIZZARD....lets go!
  11. Some whopping snow totals coming in across the CO Rockies/Foothills....it'll still pile up today...
  12. Some big time hail reports across KS...
  13. Our skies to the north… C5916E2D-2823-407D-A876-7DF181AD6CB3.mp4 Earlier in the day, I was out at the pool underneath blue skies with no chem trails… This was a normal plane contrail…
  14. This is the storm my buddy who lives near the Foothills of Denver, CO has been waiting for...Golden opportunity to score at least a Foot of powder that will be a fluffy type of storm. The last one was a wetter variety. Man, this would be a great system to track for the Breckenridge or a bit north near Silverthrone.
  15. Looking into the LR , is there a Palm Sunday weekend storm system lurking? The 500mb pattern is ripe for a GL's cutter...would be something if MSP "hooks" this one up!
  16. I was out and about in Old Town Scottsdale yesterday afternoon and the weather was just perfect. Sunny skies, nice breeze and temp near 80F...Top Notch March weather for the valley. Carbon Copy the next couple days before the "Cutoff Low is a Weatherman' Woe" tracks into the 4 corners. It's fun tracking these type of storms. Usually, the foothills of CO get smashed and also Tao's Ski resort in N NM.
  17. Some late season #StatPaddingSnow....muj bueno for some!
  18. Absolutely, I've never experienced totality but from what I heard, it's like your on a different planet. I only got to 90% or thereabouts and it was pretty decent. 100% totality is a different world. It's one of those things in life you need to check off the bucket list.
  19. @MIKEKCand the KC boys & gals...nasty looking severe wx threat shaping up near your area and parts of the S MW/Lower lakes. I can see this similar storm track/pattern repeating well into May/June. 0z Euro...nasty looking bowed line...
  20. Anytime my friend...as for Winter returning, its the typical "Yo-Yo" time of year around the GL"s region. If you believe the Euro Op, it drops a late season Polar Vortex eerily close by late in the run! It's been a common theme for this year's LRC...."The Year of the Omega Block"...nasty looking PAC NW Block to develop as the -EPO tanks and the trough over the 4 corners retrogrades into my area. Crazy pattern developing late week.
  21. Barry always snapped some phenomenal photos…looking forward to seeing some of your photos.
  22. I had a nice little storm that came down off the mountains last evening and produced a rainbow along with some real loud claps of thunder. One of the bolts of lightning was very close to my place. TGANDOR~56AD36B4-2A81-49F8-9595-E2581BF041D1.mov
  23. North Platte and W NE appear to be the winners...the epitome of an "I-80 Special" across the state of NE...I remember vividly driving through this region into rolling hills of NE CO back on NOV 1st, 2016....a day before the Cubbies won the World Series!
  24. Of note, is the continuing warmth of the GOM...I'm really concerned for FL this season and pretty much all of the Gulf States.
