February Snowfalls 2/10-2/12, Part III & IV

At least most of the people that got hosed last night are west of I-5.

That is a correct statement.

The fact it’s pivoting is kind of interesting, but it of course is something that could run out of steam at just about any moment.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Tomorrow morning.   Still so strange that there is a big snowstorm coming 6 hours later.   I can't ever remember even a rain system forming that fast.

Total snow tomorrow night... closer view.    Maybe 1-2 inches for the Seattle area.

Tomorrow evening... there it is! Not much for King County through 10 p.m.

ecmwf-snow-6-nw-6-2.png

Looks like I will be adding to my snowpack by tomorrow evening!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

21 degrees now.

Looking like 1 or 2 inches for King County tomorrow night.  Just enough to freshen everything up.  One thing that could bring totals a bit higher is likely high snow to water ratios.

Early Tuesday morning... this is a big shift northward with the front that was to be down south.

ecmwf-snow-6-washington-11-1.png

Wow. Didn’t think it could get worse than last run.
