March 2019 Observations and Discussion

The weather station I have has a website and an app that I can use to look up my weather station's data from anywhere. Love that feature!

I was looking back at this month so far and it's pretty crazy to see the flip we've seen(pretty normal in March of course).

March 2-4th had highs of 15, 7, and 15 and overnight lows were below zero.

Since the 8th of March, every single day has been above freezing for highs, and since the 13th(last 16 days) we've had every day above 50 except for 4 days and those 4 days were at least 44 degrees. Normal this time of year is now in the 50s, so it's been nothing to extreme, but it's all relative to where we started the first few days of March.

Well said.

Here's my data from my backyard in Omaha.

The average low for the month was 25.2 and the average high was 44.5.

My coldest low was -7.9 on the 4th and the coldest high was 7.2 on the 3rd.

My warmest low was 48.9 on the 27th and the warmest high was 73.9 also on the 27th.

Ended up with 4.08" of qpf and 3.7" of snow.

We had no measurable snow after the 7th.
