luvssnow_spokane
We have been looking at property over in Spokane last month or so, not 100% certain yet but sometime next year may be moving there. I was curious how their winters compare to here.We are also looking for property to build a house. Been a tough search as Spokane' rapid growth is making supply limited and more expensive. maybe we will be neighbors. 1 Quote My Weather Station https://tempestwx.com/station/61434
Timmy Supercell
It can happen anywhere. Sure can. People say K-Falls has a high crime rate, hooligans and thieves everywhere, but the majority of the issues consist of maybe a dozen blocks or so in the suburbs. About half the time I pull up an article from Herald and News about something, a very familiar street name comes up. Usually a street anywhere from 2-5 miles from my house up the hill. A weather weenie who used to live in K-Falls actually (not a member here) in the early 2000's, the guy must have had bad luck or something, he thinks this town has the worst crime rate in Oregon. Medford I'm pretty sure is worse. I've lived in this house since 2012 and this block up here had no more than probably 1 break-in and that was 3 or 4 years ago. The guy who owns that home is somebody who probably knew too many people who also knew other people that were not so honest. I was gonna say, we had a bunch of break ins in our neighbourhood 2 nights ago. People breaking into garages and stealing things like dirt bikes and tools. There was maybe one time a couple years ago our Nissan was rummaged through, but we may have accidentally left it unlocked one night and nothing was broken. 1 Quote Ashland, KY Weather '23-'24 Winter Snowfall - 5.50" First freeze: 11/1 (32) Minimum: 2 on 1/17 Measurable snows: 4 Max 1 day snow: 3" (1/19) Thunders: 11 1/27, 1/28, 2/10, 2/22, 2/27, 2/28, 3/5, 3/6, 3/14, 3/15 3/26, ------------------------------------------------------- [Klamath Falls, OR 2010 to 2021] https://imgur.com/SuGTijl

The Swamp
Had a meeting in downtown Tacoma yesterday. And for the record... downtown Tacoma is actually quite nice. But when I came out out to my car... the driver side window was smashed in with glass everywhere. And they hit at least 5 more cars in the same row. They cleaned out my console and got about $10 in change. Hope that was worth the effort! And hope they cut themselves up on all the glass which was all over the entire interior. They also left me with a $350 repair bill. <_> Downtown Tacoma is not nice. Just stop Tim. Stop. It's a hole.

Amazing how desperate drugs makes people.Yep. That's happened here a couple times to me... fortunately, they didn't break any windows and I didn't leave anything valuable in the car.
