GHweatherChris
Both!! I want both!Multiple big snowstorms would be even better, no reason to break temp records to get that. We didn't really see any impressive stuff in February here as far as snow totals. 2008 set the bar too high here.

The Swamp
The excitement is building. The details will get ironed out later. Hopefully we can get a low to spin up off the BC coast line and slide down the coast dropping a coating of snow from Bellingham to Northern California. You get a snow monster and you get a snow monster. Everyone gets a snow monster!

Phil
I lived in your area and experienced one of the greatest storms for DC/Northern VA/southern MD in the last 20 years. I know what is possible. Just very volatile, like here. That storm in January 2000 was a tiny flurry compared to the big snowmageddons in 2009, 2010 and 2003..not even close to our ceiling. It’s something like #10 or #11 over the last 20 years. Around a foot of snow and some gusty winds in 2000. We had a bigger storm just last January, lol. To put things in perspective, in 2010, 5-6 feet fell in just 12 days, and that was after an earlier 2ft+ blizzard in December. And in January 2016, 30-40” fell in 24 hours. Big difference between a big daddy nor’easter and a more typical nor’easter dumping a 10-15”. 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=

Brian_in_Leavenworth
For GFS snow totals, you need to go to pivotalweather.com and select the high resolution version. Goes through 10 days. It is the same model, but better details. More realistic snow totals. Shows about 8 inches Bellingham area instead of the 15 that the lower resolution shows. I think Pivotalweather.com has better maps.
