High of just 67 here with mostly cloudy skies. We definitely seem to be on an “ underachieving” streak the last week or so. Rare these days.

Right now Saturday is looking like the best bet for first 80 of the month down here. Would be rare to get that deep into July without hitting it. Although with a little less marine influence than forecast, Thursday could possibly pull it off too.

Nice day. Had a low this morning of 48. Already down to 55...We have sure spent a lot of time in the 50’s this season.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

High of 63ºF IMBY today and wow, what a difference from two years ago on this date when I recorded a high of 111ºF in Tujunga. Several all-time record highs set that day.

If you guessed I preferred today's weather over that of two years ago, you would be correct.

83 would be a nice high given that it is July.

Should be a good day to work outside...cool and in the mid 60s. I’m going to be ripping up deck boards in Olympia for the day...glad we’re getting this type of weather rather than 85-90 degree heat.

Cute little drizzlefest right now.

Have you sunk into a deep depression due to this?

So ironic... since you will actually be the one in deep depression when we have several days above 70.    ;)

To those saying "ugh, it's never summer here", I enter Exhibit A: the past several "Seattle Summer Scoreboards -- that 2013-2018 stretch was brutal for non-heat fans. We're due for a heat-free summer! :)

Avg: 80+: 26; 85+: 10; 90+: 3

His point is correct, but that graphic is kinda misleading because the numbers for previous years were for the whole year, not just through 7/5.

I was thinking the same thing.

We don't know how this summer will end up yet.

We accumulated  a few 80+ degree days here.  I remember when I moved up here the weathermen saying 80* days were hard to come by.  I was thankful as PDX had no issues hitting 85* to the low 90s quite often.  My two story house in Troutdale roasted.  Couldn’t  afford a/c so I was very thankful for the cooler summers up here.

Southern posters could never understand the jarring realities of their summers.

True. I heard they have had to deal with a few hours of light rain.

Agree , clouds have been breaking off sooner here in the day then down south.  Yesterday it was socked in when I came off St. Helens.  Checked my nest cam to see what we were having here and it was sunny!  As I drove north the clouds started breaking up around DuPont area.
