no offense you've just never had single origin craft coffee. I got turned on to it when we lived in Santa Cruz, no looking back. I don't sweeten coffee or alter its taste in anyway other than a little bit of oat milk

We buy Petes espresso roast pre ground and use a regular coffee maker. I can’t really taste the difference between that and a truly gourmet brew.

Let's play a game of hypotheticals. Assume for a moment that the Trump trial in New York results in a hung jury and no conviction on any counts. What's everyone's take on whether prosecutors would try the case for a second time? My personal opinion is that even if it comes out 11-1 or 10-2 in favor of guilty, they probably won't try the case again. Would probably be very tempting though. If it's like 8-4 or even more split than that, I don't think there's a chance in hell that they try again, even in heavily liberal NYC.

Indeed. Long rainy rainy stretches with no sunny days mixed in during the warm season is my biggest weakness. I have said many times that April and May are often my least favorite months in the PNW. Jim has said the same thing hundreds of times and he is a life-long native. Rain all of November doesn't' bother me at all though. All about sun angle. And nature doesn't care either way... and it will pass.

McDonald’s coffee is okay. It’s fairly strong for something you buy at a fast food place. I cannot drink Dutch Bros, it just takes like hot water to me.

I am all for staying green all summer. Rain once twice a week would be ideal. But nature doesn't give a crap what I want! And maybe it's because you expect McDonalds to be crap so the coffee exceeds expectations?

And apparently McDonalds Coca Cola is even better than the Mexican Coke that comes in the bottle!

I’m not a fan of the Chick Fil A there. I wish they would have turned that into the In-N-Out instead. I’m going to miss the Hawaiian Time that they are going to tear down now. Best Hawaiian food in the PNW.

Kind of works out perfectly. You don't have to miss out on any beautiful weather here, while I get to enjoy the late season cold rain. It also ensures the grass will stay green deeper into the Spring and summer here, which while that may not be so difficult in North Bend, down in Seattle I'm already seeing brown spots in the most exposed parts of my lawn. Okay! I keep hearing this over and over! My roommate and I were just talking about it the other night. Is it really that good??
