  14. Made it to just outside of Whistler. So many people just parked out on the side of the road. Way too many folks outside of Britannia Beach thinking that running across a highway after parking on a tiny shoulder is perfectly fine. Nearly got in an accident when a couple in a Honda just pulled out without their headlights. Caught the lights as far south as Marysville and then dawn was bright enough to wipe them out. Looking forward to tonight and given the state of the sun and the history of these storms, it'll be fun to see what we get over the next three months.

  15. Pretty net night last night. What a blessing to see the solar storm show we saw. I only ever saw the Northern Lights once before in Alaska, but this was pretty incredible for the PNW as well!

  16. Managed to catch a video of the light moving around. Though it was over for a bit but then another wave of it came out of nowhere. IMG_7522.mov

  23. Obviously the most impressive northern light display I've seen down here. 1400 pics...going to take a long time to edit. Phone pic for now. Was really rocking around 1030-11, 1130, and 130-2.

  29. A dog cabana! Does it come with a cocktail server and a $500 food and drink minimum? Up to 85 here. Bella says it could be a couple degrees cooler but no real complaints.

  33. Not bad! The most I got was a dusting during the early morning hours of February 15th. Starting this winter I will begin recording snowfall at my place, which I should mention, is in the Puget sound convergence zone. Anyways, I don't wanna go off-topic considering this is a May weather thread

  34. I have seen more intense shows in Washington State before. But the duration of this seems intense. I don’t remember an event in my lifetime where so many people across the country from coast to coast have seen the northern lights. That’s pretty special.

  37. I tried to get to Crown Point to take pictures of the Northern Lights but thousands of people were doing the same thing so I parked along the side of the road next to someone's house. I took a few pictures but they were ok but when I got home, these pictures were amazing
