  1. Are there any euro snowfall maps for Thursday. Disappointed in tomorrow, but still some hope for Vancouver, Washington for Thursday storm...I hope.
  2. Totally agree. I sometimes ask people to do a thought experiment. Compare a 0 C (32F) day to a 30 C (86F) day. One is “cold” and one is “hot”. Then try to imagine a 0 C day and a -30 C (-22F) day. We call them both “cold” but there’s a massive difference between them. I love cold and snow, but some of the extreme temps and windchills that might be coming our way are a bit scary. I grew up out east and have some unpleasant memories of waiting at bus stops in -20C weather. Don’t need to do that again!
  3. Just looked back at earlier runs and it’s been there since at least December 30th. Hopefully consistency counts for something (sadly it doesn't )
  4. Does anyone have a GFS snowfall map to the end of the run that they’d be willing to share? Northern Washington/B.C. I’ve been using Tropical Tidbits and it’s not updating past hr 222
  5. Ok...I’m posting. we still have a foot of snow on the ground by the end of the run. Not 2 feet like the 18Z, but we’ll take it.
  6. Here you go. Courtesy of the Canadian forum and Abby Jr.
  7. Were clinging to a faint hope for snow tomorrow night/Friday in Vancouver. Any chance anyone has Euro snowfall maps for Thursday to Saturday?
  8. Hey...everyone on the BC forum is just waiting for you Van Islanders to let us know if and when the snow starts. Drop by and say hi.
  9. Great! Snow everywhere except at my place on the west side of Vancouver
