I keep buying into the hype of "its finally going to storm" or "we will finally break this drought/curse" and am constantly disappointed. Crazy how storms consistently miss us and we will get .10" on the back end as it wraps up. Maybe some day it will change but doesnt seem anytime soon. My grass went from dormant to drought looking already.

Omaha missed this morning (north and south). We will be lucky if we get mist this afternoon at this point..... Nothing new here

You are wellll above average for the year. You can sacrifice a dry slot for us eastern ne members to score some moisture....

Tonights storms go north. Tomorrow is east. We are doomed either way. Nice and dry next week too ....blah

It is our first "real" storm of the season....June 29th. Maybe this breaks the hit and miss stuff?

I live out in Gretna and have seen .4" in the last month and a half. I didnt think it could get worse but here we are. Getting missed almost every time is frustrating

Been on here for 5 years but never comment however I enjoy all of your posts on weather. Living in Omaha as a weather enthusiast could be the most depressing thing ever. Today was a complete bust! It looked very promising for an hour or so this morning but flipped quick and dry air killed everything.
