  1. Yeah I'm here in Auburn near Pacific Raceways. I got excited when I heard some heavy rain just a bit ago but by the time I'd pulled up the radar to check it had already passed and there's nothing in line any time soon. Feels like the good stuff always goes West or East and I'm stuck in the middle
  2. I live directly under the bullseye of that hail core. Weirdly it was "soft" hail so I didn't notice what was going on at first. Best I could tell this morning they actually ended up plowing the streets, including at the roundabout in that photo. Spent my morning listening to huge sheets of hail/ice crashing off of the surrounding rooftops. Here's a couple of photos mid-event.
  3. Feels like it's getting close here in the Auburn valley. The sky definitely has some "depth" to it and as I watch inbound flights to SeaTac they look to be obscured by some virga that clears from south to north. I like the timing given that it is cooling and dusk is approaching.
  4. Checking in from just around the corner of Green River College
  5. Coming down hard now in Auburn. Finally sticking to cars. Doorbell camera at home on the East Hill/Lea Hill shows that grass and rooftops are covered
  6. Snow was/is coming down (heavy mix earlier, but lighter now) here near the Auburn airport, more or less at sea level. Temp has dropped almost 10 degrees in the last 2 hours. My view of the west hill of Auburn/Federal Way from my window here at work is obscured but it seems that I can see some white peeking through the wall of precip. Here's the Auburn Airport weather station link to reference https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KWAAUBUR76?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash
  7. Tell me about it. I'm just on the other side of 18 from Pacific Raceways and I've barely gotten an inch from each of the last two nights, which melted away both times. I can see the damned wall of clouds from my office window and I'm hating it
  8. Here in Auburn near the North end of the airport and I've been watching a dark wall coming from the W/NW for the last couple hours. Just now starting to see the hills to the west beginning to look a bit fuzzy as I presume some light snow is starting to fall.
  9. Getting slushy accumulations on cars here across from the Auburn airport in the valley (56' elevation). Coming down very heavily right now!
