Heavy rain in NE Seattle - maybe some mixed precip in there.

I’ve had a hell of a day with sick kids who will be home with us tomorrow while we try and WFH. Can someone just tell me NE Seattle is getting some snow please. I may have told my eldest she would wake up to snow, so I blame all those BOOM posts over the past week if she’s let down.

Rain finally seemed to stop here in NE Seattle. Doesn't look like we'll be expecting anything for today.

It’s now raining a good amount in NE Seattle, quickly washing out our 3/4” of snow.

I’d say 3/4 inch or so total in NE Seattle…

Starting to see some very light flake action in NE Seattle. Wind has picked up considerably. edit: snow coming down a lot harder than initially realized, just very fine.

Seems like seattle is a toss up huh

Back to a really good snowfall rate in NE Seattle.

The heavy snow seems to have tapered off. It's a very light almost non-exisitent snowfall now.

I was just in Vancouver this weekend to visit family, and decided to come back Sunday evening with my family so we wouldn’t get stuck. Looks like we made the right call but I also sad to have missed it! We go up to Van every Dec and the past number of December’s have been quite snowy!

Just barely hanging on in NE Seattle.

Just woke up thanks to my youngest climbing out of her crib. [NE Seattle] Took a look outside and snowing moderately…not much more accumulation since I went to bed around 10pm or so. Everything definitely covered though. 1.5 inches or so? Looks like some melting occurred.

Been all snow for a while now in NE Seattle. Sticking to all surfaces.

30 degrees and accumulating snow in NE Seattle. Nice coating everywhere. Sticking to roads too.

Why is the EURO such an outlier at this point?
