  1. I needed to see what the latest was. Everyone round these parts think we are going to get few inches to a dumping of snow . The UW model is rarely right over here but it was correct last time. Temp is marginal, but maybe an inch. Enough for that two hour delay or closure. sure hope El Niño will be kind to the kids in July
  2. Still dumping snow! Lost power about an hour ago . They forecasted 1-3 inches currently have about 6! Before they suddenly threw the quick winter warning up. Oops. Maybe it was a hard call? But I don’t mind the surprise
  3. I did read we are going into sun spot solar maximum, and with the weakening of the magnetic field that could be what's happening.
  4. Unexpected surprise, snowing with at least an inch on the ground.
  5. I know it's just gonna snow! Why? Because my fan for my heater/ac decided when it wants to work. So crossing fingers I can just just tap the blower fan and alls good
  6. It's the best terrible b movie for Swayze, along with Point Break lol
  7. I was on pier 54 when the Nisqually earthquake occurred. Ivars corp offices are at the end of the pier behind the restaurant. All I remembered from childhood earthquake drills in California, was either move to a doorway. I was standing near. I told the receptionist to get under her desk. We had auditors at the time , that were completely scared. Barreling through me and immediately ran outside off the pier. Towards the viaduct. I stayed, decided to take my chances on a pilings, than the viaduct crashing down. Had I been at my desk, I would have been crushed by shelving in my office. I cant imagine what a 5.5 or greater will do to Seattle.
  8. I made chicken adobo with lumpia. Requested by the kiddo.
