  1. 71 here…don’t think we will crack 76 at this rate north wind off the sound keeping us relatively cool.
  2. 68 here…we will see if we can surpass our high temp of 76 today from earlier this week. We will do it tomorrow if we don’t today.
  3. Some locations up here didn’t get the strong winds but many places did. We’re downwind from the stampede gap where 410 goes up into the mountains by enumclaw. Sometimes the east winds set up just right and filter through enumclaw and Bonney lake and go all the way down into commencement bay and my nieghboorhood. It’s pretty cool when it happens.
  4. Last years heatwave 6/26 98/71 6/27 100/72 6/28 106/68 my prediction for this round 6/25 81/57 6/26 89/58 6/27 90/60
  5. We will see if we can hit 90 here Sunday or Monday…gonna be a close call. Should be somewhere between 88 and 91 on both days. Either way a 10-15 degrees cooler than late June last year which is still mind boggling.
  6. SEVERE clear and a low of 50 this morning…was hoping for 40s but maybe next month lol.
  7. Yeah they were both very extreme weather events. We had wind gusts here 55+ mph straight out of the stampede gap that night…with waves of 4-5 feet here in commencement bay. They were bringing in cranes from the port of Seattle into Tacoma and one of the cranes washed right into Katie downs here on the waterfront that night. Quite a few docks on the west side of the bay broke that evening.
  8. One reason I wanted to look back at September 2020 was the absolute freak of nature east wind event on Labor Day. I know it led to major destruction that personally affected a few of us on the forum but the wind event itself was pretty wild. One of the most extreme weather events I’ve ever witnessed.
  9. Yeah there’s several months missing over the last 3 years. Another one I was curious to look back at was September 2020 but it’s also nowhere to be found.
  10. Was curious to go back and look at the June 2021 thread but it’s gone apparently along with several other months with interesting weather. What happened to them?
  11. I mean we didn’t go to drizzle and 50s last June but we did go from 106 to 68 in about 6 hours. That was pretty wild…38 degree swing.
  12. We will see what happens here tonight we got down to 47 on 6/15 so it might be tough at my location…sure it’s a different story for most spots.
  13. Your like Phillip rivers with 9 kids over here.
  14. Might be the trend this summer…seems like some years the models underdo heatwaves and the overall temps and duration until a few days out. I remember in 2019 it was the opposite heat and warmth was constantly oversold on the models and pushed back. Still gonna be a decent shot of heat though.
  15. Low of 50 this morning…lows have been cooler overall since the first 1/3 of the month. Mostly sunny and 57 currently nice day.
  16. Euro shows the heatwave peaking at 89…think we’ve got a pretty good chance at hitting 90 though. Part of me wants us to avoid 90 to maybe hopefully get our first summer to avoid 90+ since 2011…but also would be cool to get a big swing in temps following the marine push.
  17. It’s hard to get down to Eugene since it isn’t part of the PNW.
  18. I do agree though the short dynamic heatwave and the crash following on the euro would be a fun way to end the month.
  19. 68/58 today…probably gonna have a midnight low though.
  20. We’ve had a couple days this last week that ended up nicer than forecast.
  21. Todays turned out nicer than expected after some morning drizzle. 64 and some sunbreaks here.
