I'm curious, what's the coldest high temp and low temp for everyone this year, total snowfall, and largest Snow event?

-7 low here which is maybe slightly cooler than our average coldest low, coldest high of 2 which was a midnight high, daytime high was -1 that day. 84" seasonal snow total (so far), largest 24hr event of 21" but it was probably more than that, because fluffy sub zero snow compacts VERY easily.

I think I had a 7/16 day last January. And a foot of snow on the trailing edge of that same cold snap.

Netanyahu is like the rich spoiled little sh*t teenager who does what he wants but then throws a b*tch fit when things don't go exactly his way.

Israelis could learn from our mistakes after 9/11 and realize that this idiot is setting them back BIG TIME as the world opinion unites against them.

And why shouldn’t the spoiled teen do it? He knows his parents are total pushovers.

Cocky jogger guy reminds me a lot of overconfident big truck snow driver guy. There's always these idiots here who seem to think snow is an invitation/challenge to drive much faster than everyone else on the highway.

"It's just a little snow, not gonna let it slow me down like you p*ssies. Cuz I got this big truck with big tires and an even bigger ego!!"

These are usually the guys who end up in a ditch.

Stopping is usually the most important thing, and those trucks have nothing special in stopping ability. Every car has four-wheel stop.

Give it time. The mid-March ridge was looking pretty reasonable for awhile there too. Ended up hitting 80 in the rainforests of the Washington coast while roughly 17,000 monthly records fell in British Columbia.

The Euro maps were a lot torchier last time. I am not expecting TTT Easter weekend.

Up to .75” now on the day! I thought Tim said today was going to be much less moist than originally thought…

The official forecast here had been for an all-day rainfest, but Environment Canada backed away from that yesterday and started forecasting showery weather. So of course the all-day rain materializes.

I am a medical physicist and work with linear accelerators. When we decommissioned a machine in residency we tweaked the machine (removed safety precautions) to generate electron trees. This caused the room to be filled with ozone. A very metallic odor.

The closest lightning strike I experienced involved the snapping sound of sparks from induced charges in room I was in, simultaneous with a blinding flash of light. Then a deafening crash of thunder the tiniest of split seconds later. Target was a power pole about 50 feet away.
