  1. Flying right now does not appeal to me at all. With a husband retiring in a few months I don’t want to be on a plane. It’s crazy out there.
  2. Indonesia is under a Tsunami alert as a collapse potential of Mt Ruang is high.
  3. Quite warm tomorrow with temps hitting 88 and a 50% of thunderstorms in the evening. With that heating, some storms could be severe.
  4. Totally. Oh, resuced a nice non- poisonous snake today. Three guys working in my yard were freaked out. I got there in time to save him. Nice little 30” snake. Perfectly docile. I gathered him up and released him somewhere safer. Poor guy was just looking for bugs.
  5. Can you imagine a mass of it introduced into a major drinking water system? It’s scary. Then there’s this I found. 'The real danger to the country, the real danger to democracy is the progressive agenda' '#Trump may be playing Russian roulette, but continuation of the Biden administration is national suicide' https://www.wnd.com/2024/04/national-suicide-ex-ag-bill-barr-sounds-alarm-biden-re-election/ Not particularly reassuring.
  6. It’s an important element in all western nations. Many that don’t use fencing have border guards with ARs. Try slipping into “fence less” Switzerland. You’ll be staring down the barrel of a rifle. I’ve seen it. Same in many other nations. It helped a great deal in the US. In the end people on the border and policy are the answer. We need to control entry and with the fentanyl problem out of control life here will only get worse. Just ask the families of those killed by illegals or fentanyl. It’s a mess and it needs to be addressed.
  7. Expecting another warm Spring day. 85-86*. Photo taken at Barry, Texas. 4-8-24
  8. I caught part of an interview with Gavin Newsom. “California Slick” himself. Honestly, Oh Gawd! That smile is as big and all encompassing as any catfish in the Lake Texoma! Just stick a hook in it already!!! Way too slick, too forced, too practiced. He’s right out of a Stanley Kubrick film, had he made a futuristic political farce. Honestly, Gav missed his calling as a Carnival Barker! “Dood” gives me the creeps Meanwhile, Mamuka and Aleko get it on !!! Now that’s political commitment! https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/georgian-politician-punches-opponent-in-face-in-brawl-over-foreign-agent-law/ar-BB1lFmoW
  9. There is a huge alliance between Iran, China, and Russia. No news there. If we spoke in terms of WW2 I'd say they are the new Axis power. They're going to share, weapons, resources, and somewhat friendly relations largely because they hate the West so much. True, Russia can't afford to be very generous, but political support says a lot in this environment. China is no doubt the big money in that bunch and it makes me all the more suspicious as to why we have so many Chinese men entering the US over the Southern border. The big question is how did they manage to leave China? Do you have any idea how hard it is to leave as a citizen? Where'd the money and permission come from?
  10. Ran across this tidbit… With the $165 Billion we gave to Ukraine, we could have built six border walls to stop illegal immigrants from pouring across our southern border….. Imagine a secure country that knows who is entering their nation. Thats all we want. Weed out the criminals, drug dealers and terrorists. It’s not rocket science.
  11. This is a clear eyed view of the our potential future. https://www.yahoo.com/news/enemies-west-preparing-tactical-nuke-135511462.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kcnVkZ2VyZXBvcnQuY29tLw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAMeY9lXUK8XxgM3swAhEdPBSG6WHv8VDpp3ZXNVBpl76T4Qi5SP7ny1snqmhJuk6id0nP_ujQBtvU0Yc22m4VqAdu157f_a0MvsrPkJAiZzItACSxcl5zojMU8i8XvMD16quZwnaLqJhrgXBoKsNitiSAeSvnUAqKAhhRGe95bv- It’ll be interesting for certain but reminds me a bit of watching an auto collision in slo-mo. People have forgotten how to play nice in their own back yards.
  12. Oh it’s mutual on both sides really. Sometimes I think they forget why they’re fighting. They just fight. If they’d put all that energy into industry it would be an amazing place.
  13. Everyone needs to take a chill pill and a siesta. Hot heads are to many and if they’ll back off they might find they like peace. What a concept! I doubt they’ll do that. They’re much too itchy to settle down. They’ll likely avoid nukes but it’ll be a shooting gallery yet.
  14. U.S. officials believe up to 500 drones could be targeting Israel from Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Iran, ABC News reported. “We have not enforced the oil sanctions, 90% of their oil is being sold to China. We have backed away from our greatest ally, Israel, very publicly,” Waltz said. “And by the way, we spent the last couple of years begging Iran to get back in to an Iran deal using Russia as an intermediary, and the lead negotiator is now under investigation by the FBI for some type of traitorous activity towards Iran … the list is so long that Iran clearly thinks it can get away with this and sees this as an opportunity.”https://www.wnd.com/2024/04/dangerous-disaster-ex-green-beret-blasts-biden-iran-launches-israel-attack/
  15. Very true. Mutually assured destruction, in a manner of speaking.
  16. I had to read that twice. Yikes!
  17. They adjusted our temps into the mid 80’s but otherwise no change. 20% chance rain, breezy. Gorgeous Baby!!!
  18. They’re very good at diversion and lies. They just don’t realize how much dramatic images are shared throughout the internet. Maybe they should get out more. Secondly, I seriously doubt we’re at Armageddon. They said that during the 6 days war Now set off a nuke in Jerusalem and you’re likely there. When holy sites get destroyed, you’ve crossed the Rubicon
  19. We’ll see how tonight goes. Sometimes I wonder if they’re just testing their rockets. Why can’t people just learn to play in their own yard!?
  20. They’ll let Iran make the first strike. Then look out. We just don’t need this sh*t in the world.
  21. High of 82 today. Partly cloudy, 20% chance rain. Tomorrow the same except 85*. It’s that time of year in Texas. Back into high 70’s for a week. 20% chance of rain. I love May.
  22. This pretty much sums it up. Ready or not….
