  1. This pattern change has been fast, and legitimately appreciated. Hands down. But the rain shadow is a real bear so far this year. I am ready to be looking forward to a sunny day.
  2. Maybe 30 here. Very low turn out. Luckily we gave away the full sized bars and just only had to break into the second box.
  3. The radar is currently backfilling to the North fast. Getting heavy in North Kitsap now. This is going to be unpopular, but I hope it pours.
  4. Yeah, you're right nobody should speculate on a weather forum. How crazy would that be?
  5. November can have a way of surprising you regardless of what the LR says. I always look forward to November, it's usually our first dynamic month of the year.
  6. I mean in all fairness, 67 in Palm Springs? That's a bit chilly for speedos.
  7. Went over the Oyster Saloon near the Hamma Hamma river, on the West shore of the Hood Canal today. Good grub, kinda rustic for the price, but a great day out. Took the chance to stop by Rocky Brook Falls by the Dosewallips on the way to lunch. Nobody else was there and it was just sprinkling. Nice. Oh, and caught this shot of this good sized rock stopped by the two fir trees at the bottom of a steep slope and right on the trail. The rock was about five feet long.
  8. BTW, on which part of the island did you live? I am a little bit less than a half a mile North of the ferry dock. Wing Point/Hawley Cove area.
  9. Didn't Nov 2006 come with snow, a windstorm, and then bitter cold? Wait, that was after an AR wasn't it? Or, did I dream it?
  10. When was it much higher? It's at least civil for the most part here now, and we are seeing some new people join. The main difference on here lately is we have been chasing rain like it was snow. Model riding started quick this year.
  11. Just different preferences. It just started raining for the year, so I am naturally going to want more. Just the way I'm wired I guess. I will want some sun eventually, but for now I'm looking for stormy weather.
  12. Oh yes the beautiful eucalyptus trees. I had somehow managed to forget about them.
