Nice light show last night/early this am Had one really Storm brought 40 Sustained 60 mph gusts early am took out the power for about 5 mins Internet for a couple hrs.

Crazy intense storms last night. First time since i moved here to iowa that i"ve seen so many tornado warned thunderstorms all at the same time. Lucky us we were just missed by the one in s.e iowa. Storm chaser posted a video on youtube looked like a hurricane inside that storm. awesome video.

Storms starting to fire up over south central Iowa now. Interesting lat afternoon & evening looking promising.

Very humid here feels like a sauna outside temperature 77 with 70% humidity dew point 67

0-2 now for servere weather back to back weekends Bust for severe storm's.

Noticed SPC lowered the chance for severe weather over most of eastern iowa, Illinois. Unlikely were see any servere weather today. I Believe today will be mostly dry warm humid sticky day Minus extreme north eastern iowa, southeast Minnesota where still decent shot at severe weather.

Tomorrow should be a interesting day weather wise. Servere weather? Odds differently seem better tomorrow vs last weekend when it was a Major bust least for eastern iowa. Differently will be checking weather before heading out tomarrow to a already planned outdoor event.

Major bust here yesterday as well got a brief heavy rain shower with a couple rumbles of Thunder was all we got. All the excitement was well west of me.

Today's shaping up to be a pretty major bust weather wise Actually pretty happy it has busted hate to see any servere weather especially on Mother's day.

Interesting just noticed they have expanded the slight risk for severe storm's late afternoon into the evening to cover my area. hasn't been much day time heating yet have my doubts were get any severe storm's.
