  1. Final total was just over 11”. Ended up changing to 32.9 degree rain for a few hours which was surprising. It turned back to snow but never really accumulated after that. There is a ridiculous amount of snow up there from the last few weeks
  2. That’s funny that’s exactly where I am right now. About 3 lots off 119
  3. I’m up here just up the hill from the state park at Lake Cushman. We have about 8.5” so far. Coming down hard and current temp 31.8. About 5” of that has accumulated since 330am
  4. I’ll take one for the team and be at lake cushman tomorrow through Sunday. Will be at roughly 1000 ft elevation. Pure luck I’m going up there with this set up potentially happening. Shoveling on Sunday is going to be brutal lol. I’ll take pictures Last time I was up there was early January 2022 when it dumped around 10”. Heaviest snow I’ve ever seen at it’s peak
  5. We have been fogged in at my house nonstop for the last 4-5 days. I live just south of Bonney Lake at 700’ 1/22 36.5/27.0 1/23 36.7/28.2 1/24 34.5/28.6 1/25 34.7/29.7 today high of 33.8 and already down to 32.0 I’ll take it as it’s plummeted my monthly average to 39.2 last two days my work in SeaTac has shaken the fog. The thick fog starts about a mile from my house on the way home every day
  6. My uncle sent me a few pictures today. He lives about 500 feet higher than cle run in the hills out there. They’ve lived there for about 5 years so they are accustomed to tons of snow but even he had to shake his head at this amount. Over 60” in 7 days
  7. I work in the heavy duty truck industry and to say it’s a mess would be an understatement. I have customers with trucks trapped all over
  8. Lake cushman station showing 8.46” of rain since midnight now 🌧 I know they’ve cracked 10” in a day before, looks like they will today EDIT other stations showing 2-4” I’m not believing this. Possible but unlikely
  9. 2.26” since midnight in south Bonney Lake. Can you tell when the south wind hit by this chart also lake cushman showing a ridiculous 5.92” of rain since midnight. Still 37 degrees up thereThat one isn’t my station so not sure if it includes any snow melt but wow gotta be a mess up there today
  10. 32.9 here some heavier precip rolling in. I expect a bit of snow before I join the 33* drizzle club I just caught up 7 pages but I still want to join the dog photos before the weenies show up. His name is Phil and no he’s not named after our favorite east coaster. This is the look he gives me when I go to check the streetlights for the 69th time in one night.
  11. @jakerepp Outback wilderness edition. Need everyone one of the 9” clearance to get out of here today
  12. @MR.SNOWMIZER it quickly condensed but I would say close to 30” depth now after last night. Love it up here wish I could spend a few more days!
  13. Power is back at lake cushman. Witnessed a devastating winter storm yesterday and last night. 12-14” of heavy wet snow fell taking out trees, power lines and making the main county road impassable. The sound of cracking trees and branches reminded me of some of the nastiest ice storms I’ve witnessed. To make matters worst we have had to dig out about 800 feet of concrete sludge. All in all likely the top winter storm I have witnessed with temps steady at 32 with snowfall rates reaching 2” per hour for 4-5 hours straight. Now some snow porn
  14. Changed from a borderline freezing rain to a sleet storm here at lake cushman. Snow mixing in more and more. Should get some intense bands here towards 3-4pm
  15. By the way I saw this picture on line and it made me think of a few of you weenies future ex wife
  16. A mostly snow yet rain/snow mix here at lake cushman 980’. Temp hovering around 33. I’m expecting it to change to snow as the day continues but the GFS is calling for over 2 feet by tomorrow 10am. I doubt that but I do expect a solid snow when the front finally makes it was through this evening. The trees lost a ton of snow last night as the temp stayed in the 33-34 range all night.
  17. Out at lake cushman for a day or 2. 19” on the ground and you can tell it has condensed quite a bit. Will be interesting if it stays as snow tomorrow out here
  18. The answer is yes. That’s why I moved to south Bonney Lake. Went from 23’ elevation to 698’ this will be my first winter at the new place so I’m hoping for some
  19. I feel like this doesn’t have to said (or maybe it does)... enjoy these next few days! We wait for this kind of cold and potential snow for years. Especially us west siders. We are entering the time where we are going through what we dream of all year. Some of us will get pounded, some of us will get bent. Regardless the last week or 2 have been awesome model riding with you all. Rob is the MVP of this forum BTW. Homie puts in work for everyone’s viewing pleasure. I hope he gets a snow hurricane for his service
  20. I might have picked the right time to visit Bend! I hope everyone gets hammered but I’m starting to get a bit excited for what awaits me next week. I am assuming the ratio out there should be a bit higher than 10:1. Especially when it shows decent precip with temps in the teens and below
  21. Well I fortunately have a planned visit to bend to visit the in laws Wednesday through Monday. Might be my saving grace for cold. It is the in laws though so I was hoping for a nice arctic front and cold to keep me from having to go
  22. Or maybe I’m thinking 2008. All a blur from 2007-2012
  23. I was thinking the same a couple weeks ago. Was it 2012 that we had the big region wide one. They started saying 0.1” of ice then moved it to .25 and then to .5 and I think it ended up being .6-.7 when all was said and done in the south sound area. Obviously widespread damage with those amounts
  24. Well it is looking bleak. Living at 20’ elevation in fife makes it easier to accept a snowless to near snowless winter. In positive news...my wife and I have just finalized a new build home in Tehaleh in Bonney lake at 707 feet. Drove up there today just to confirm elevation. Should be ready to move in by September. I’ll be ready for next winter! My wife wanted a newer house in puyallup but I told her I ain’t moving unless it’s at 500 feet or higher in elevation. She listened!!
  25. My fellow swamp mates and I believe this map might be a true representation of reality!!
