  1. Low temp this morning is 3° with 4 inches new snow from yesterday.
  2. A picture from the archives (2007) to note the arrival of the freezing fog yesterday.
  3. I thought it would be interesting to see how this fall heating season (beginning Oct. 1) compares to the last two years. I've plotted accumulated daily heating-degrees from the local Agrimet station here. This fall is starting out much cooler than 2016 and much much cooler than 2015.

  8. The ice grows out of thin air on anything stationary. Not bad for an iPhone cam.
  9. With 10 days of freezing fog any change will be an improvement.
