Looking at latest models. Guessing a couple inches. But nws still shows us in 6" area. Seeing something im not? My local forecast says significant accumulation on Wednesday during the day. Wich makes no sense either. So im thinking maybe a couple inches. I always hope for more, but im also realistic. A day or so ago i was in the 12"-15" area. Lol

The nam doesn't look to far off from the last European model posted. Not sure shy its going awol or its that bad. Seems like everyone to our west only cars about tracking storms that hit them. If it doesn't its a bad run or horrible run. Me i love snow. Even if its a bad a** storm thats going to completely miss me. Its still fun to see and watch. And follow up on.

Snowing pretty good here. Still 28* and no wind yet.

I totally agree with you. The amount of snow ive cleaned up plowing is totally diff than what they said fell. I too look at the snow amounts differently than than what falls on a cold board for measuring snow.

Got to love Chicago area forecasts. Accuweather 3-6. Weatherbug 2-3. Noaa 2-4. Special weather statement doesn't even mention a total. -

I have nothing here. Some on and off snow squalls of very fine snow. Has not amounted to anything. But i believe the snow here is to come later. -

And it all starts again. Everyone getting excited about the models. Doesn't look impressive to me. Looks like the same mess as the past 3 chances of decent snow. By Tuesday or Wednesday 75% of you will be complaining about the system and its lack of snow. Its ok.. im just saying. Lol -

Im guessing it ended up about 2.5" total since it started Wednesday.

Im out throwing some salt down. 1/2" or less all through the Lombard and Naperville areas. ☹

Not even rain here any more. Once it rotates around a little more im guessing we will be in the snow.

Almost 9pm and still raining here. But the fire is still nice and warm.

Still 37 here. Looks like its still rain all the way up to Milwaukee currently. Is the warm air going to win out. I said it before, im not optimistic about this set up. On a side not its the end of January and 37* outside. So me, the woman, and the neighbors have a fire going. Yes its light rain. But who cares. Its usually never this warm at the end of January.
