  1. For the sake of humanity, we all hope your virus forecasting is on par with your weather forecasting
  2. And exactly how has that worked out for you this winter, big guy?
  3. LOL! But I was told just this morning...
  4. It’s a forum for cold and snow fanatics to get together to post ways they may get the worst, most-destructive, weather possible. There’s no learning going on here; nobody is looking to get things right. Just looking for the 1 percent chance of “epic” or the “b word”. I stumbled upon this place years ago looking for info as to when the lake in my backyard was going to thaw and I could get my boat ready. Instead, I found what appeared to be what I thought were well-argued reasons why it would stay cold. It took a bit, but I realized that well-argued meant cherry-picked models to confirm cold biases. I am the voice of the voiceless. I am the guy who stops by looking for better info than what the news or weather app on the phone is offering. To all of those people: I will continue to fight for you as the winter-warrior-wishcasters try to present their dream scenarios as facts.
  5. I never called for it to be like March 2012. I am enjoying these ABOVE AVERAGE temps to start March, however. Actually has an early-spring feel to it which is nice since we haven’t had that the past few years. I’ll take the high-road here and not mention the constant doubling down of your “epically” awful winter forecast. I’ll just say that I would be embarrassed to show my face around these parts had I been that bad.
  6. Welcome to March, boys! Welcome to meteorological SPRING! So much for that epic winter, huh? LOL! Really was backloaded and, man, what the cherry-picked models were showing for two weeks out really was accurate. I don’t see these feet of snowing melting until MAY! Just a really embarrassing winter for forecasters — pro and amateur — most of whom have MAJOR cold biases but will never admit it. My grandpa’s metal hip did a better job forecasting than the much-too-relied-upon models. Think spring!
  7. Man ... crazy that JB is looking for ways to predict a cold March. Who could have seen that coming? Guy is a HACK!
  8. LOL! The best winter ever continues ... and only 9 days until meteorological SPRING! Can’t wait to see what the models spit out next to keep all of the Pavlov dogs drooling until it disappears. I am canceling my DirecTV because this is way more entertaining and fun to watch. All I do is WIN!
  9. I’ve been winning all winter long while all the wishcasters keep posting the failing models in hopes that it may confirm their cold biases. My grandpa used to say “a broken clock is right twice a day” but he obviously never read this forum. Keep relying on 240 hours out showing the “big dog” or “b word” ... I’ll just keep being right.
  10. Will it be another “2 weeks out” when this one doesn’t verify, as well? Gonna’ be hard to sell this snake oil for mid-March
  11. The best winter EVER continues as we’re nearly three weeks away from the end of meteorological winter. Kicking the can down the road for all the epic and historic events we’ve been wishcasted all season long doesn’t mean as much when we’re looking ahead to MARCH! There will still be cold and there will still be snow, no doubt, but this winter was an absolute embarrassment for the models and the forecasters that relied on them to confirm their biases. I have enjoyed watching them fail while looking at my snowless yard!
  12. The epic and historic winter of 2019-20 is set to continue. Keep living in Fantasy land with your wishcasts using the models that have been wrong all winter!
  13. I’m just playing, man. I actually agree with you ... and wonder why no models previous to 240 hours are being posted/talked about. This is a weather forum, right?
  14. It snowed ... in Michigan ... in January. Heck of a call! My parents called and said they haven’t seen snow this deep since the ‘70s ... or November. Serious question about your posts: Are they what you think is going to happen or are they the ways to potentially getting what you want — the coldest and snowiest outcome possible? It’s fine if it’s the second option but I disagree in your presentation as an objective view of what’s to come. Not everyone comes here for the same reasons. I know I found this forum looking for something deeper than the nightly local news. Thought it was a place where those who knew weather talked about the weather (at least that’s how the forum is presented). It didn’t take long for me to see through the lingo and cherry-picked maps to see post after post on ways to get Snowmageddon in one’s backyard.
  15. Denial just isn’t a river in Egypt, I see At least you didn’t wishcast the next few months to be like 1977-78 this time. Keep up the hack forecasts, my man, you’re ruining what little credibility that you have left.
