But you can't graduate without training in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Yeah that is SO much more important then basic understanding of the three R's.  Hell it's now considered no longer necessary to have facial cues to be taught and any reference to such is being erased.  Have we REALLY gone this brain dead? 😲👎👎👎🤮🛸 Wearing a Mask | Page 81 | The Vigilant Citizen Forums   Image

  2. Kate Brown made it so you can graduate without needing to have reading writing or math and she refuses to answer questions about it (of course her style) and most drugs including heroin have been legalized so your now much more likely to step on a needle with AIDS then to get COVID.   I'm willing to wager that most of the hospital population are the homeless camps that overdosed this summer and got Covid with a weak to no immune system to begin with. Covid and just about any other disease will rip right on thru!

Wow!  90?!  Where were you at?  That is insane how different it is a few 100 miles away.  It is 58F in some part of Washington State.  Big temp divide.

Aumsville OR . We are in a separate valley from the Willamette at the butt end of the 'Santiam canyon.  Often I've seen the west end of town be ABSOLUTELY dumped on while our end just light showers and sunbreaks while you can see the dark clouds nearby.  Most rain avoids us unless it's a region wide event.

    I completely agree Link.

There should be a section for models and resources and I wish others would jump in here and make it what they want it to be.

We all have something to bring to the discourse.

The problem is though people can't read past tweet length posts so it won't work. And now that reading, writing and math are illegal in Oregon watch it get worse! And free drugs everywhere on top of that!

  5. Since early last week there has been 3 (some articles recently say now 4) volcanos in a chain in this area of Aleutian Islands.  Here is the latest which it now appears it's up to 5 all in this area: https://goo.gl/maps/UTogokwBWpcK5aRT7

(Two more starting to rumble showing signs of instability) https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwia8f_7hrXyAhXlMn0KHYZzDN0QvOMEegQIBBAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sciencealert.com%2Frare-event-sees-three-alaskan-volcanoes-all-erupting-at-the-same-time&usg=AOvVaw05HQ-VtC4PBHcIxuLV32II

Here is the latest link: Rare Natural Event in Alaska Sees 3 Volcanoes Erupting at The Same Time (sciencealert.com)

Three volcanoes in the Alaskan chain of Aleutian islands are currently erupting, and two others are rumbling with disquiet.

According to a report by NBC, it's been at least seven years since three Aleutian volcanoes erupted simultaneously. This increased volcanic activity, at this point, is not causing any disruptions, but it is an interesting situation; since volcanoes can be unpredictable, scientists are keeping a careful watch.

The Great Sitkin volcano, Mount Pavlof, and the Semisopochnoi volcano are all at an orange volcano alert level as of Sunday 15 August, according to the Alaska Volcano Observatory.

This means that eruptions are currently underway, but they're relatively small, rumbly ones with minimal ash.

You had to read between the lines with Robert of exackly where he was coming from  and Andie would agree with me with that.Robert certainly beleaved in climate changes in a nature caused so I would say it was inadvertently and not on purpose.plus alot of the Articles Robert posted were from the fans that gave him the Articles to post.

At least HALF of the article sites are from sites that go onto questionable sources. It's like a broken clock twice a day kind of thing and also pretends the west isn't drying up.

Dan posted and stated he talk with Roberts wife and they are going to continue Roberts legacy and keep the site running there going to ditch the covid and other news talk and stick with climate sounds like Dan has a great plan worked out Andie

I knew there was a reason I gave up. He was going on and on about Covid and it became a Covid blog instead of a snowy climate blog. I hope the new owner mentions fires and heatwaves also instead of cherry picking data.

Earthquakes, particularly large ones, can trigger other earthquakes in more distant locations though a process known as dynamic stress transfer/triggering. This means that the energy from the seismic wave passing through can cause a new earthquake, usually in vulnerable locations prone to frequent earthquakes (e.g., volcanic regions).

Shhhhhhhhh! Anything not approved by CNN is right wing fantasy. Get back in line little ant.

Pretty far apart.   I’d be more inclined to watch for aftershocks and volcanic activity nearby in Alaska.

But there are scientists that tie GSM with quakes and volcanic activity.

The problem we have is 'scientists' and I use that term very loosely don't communicate with each other.  They are comfortable in their little cubicles.  Oceanographers don't talk to the weather people and the weather people don't talk to the ocean people, the ocean people don't talk to the volcano guys whom are trained in that field so nobody can piece together the giant puzzle. They all look at their individual puzzle pieces instead trying to make sense of the 'picture' that's jumbled.

I am not sure what it will take to change all that but something's going to have to give. Either war or civil war.

It appears more likely we're going to get another stupid ridge after this trough coming up.  I just don't get it with a Nina developing again and the tropics in a profound Nina state right now.  You have to think this will be made up for...hopefully when it counts.

You don't like the answer so there you go. Have fun guessing!

I was expecting July 2021 to be a new record but surprisingly I'm -0.5 degrees from 2014. It must have been a few low temperatures that tipped the scales. I had a higher average high (91.7 vs. 90.6). Overall mean was 71.0.

Ice age incoming! Crop failures, GMO! Police busting down doors! Get your rain barrels ready and lots of explosives around your property for the food shortages.

Too bad Robert didn't live to see it. RIP. At least they're continuing his site in his honor.

He would've frozen over and have no crops so it's probably better for him this way. A peaceful death instead of the other way instead of starving to death.

Never mind the grocery stores out of his region having supplies readily available (and always Amazon Prime) but in his area it's constant food panic and water wars and police kicking down doors constantly looking for handguns. :)

A flash flood emergency was issued for Miami Arizona yesterday. 2-3" fell on a burn scar in less than 2 hours which drained through the town. Some of the footage was pretty wild.

Isn't Miami always wet in the summer? a literal swamp and humid in the summer full of alligators?
