Any guesses on when somewhere in Western Washington hits 65?
I've got lots of tomato and pepper starts in my garden window. Would love to get them outside for some warm spring weather, even if for just a few days.
The long range outlook for March looks like it could be warmer than normal. Woot woot!
Puget Sound Energy just sent out an email asking people to turn down their thermostat, don't use your clothes dryer and try and conserve natural gas. I guess the grid is under a load.
This will not be a memorable event for me.
Statistics aside, most people in Western Washington just want some snow in their back yard.
0 degrees, 23 degrees, -45 degrees........whatever
Did we get any snow? No?
Okay, next.
Holding out hope for a dusting in the South Sound.
I know Tim will be pounding away today showing me how it likely won't happen.
Just the charts and the maps, I know.
I think south sound gets in on the action later but right now are seriously getting shadowed by the olympics. Need that front to sink past us a bit to the south and hope it wrings out the moisture in the atmosphere to give us a few flakes. Happens often but each time is different.
