We need to delay the warming as much as possible for the sake of our snowpack. The upper part of Mount Rainier right now looks more like late May not late April.

El Niño is proof that evil also exists. In the next life we will have abundant snowfall and cold.

Downright chilly tonight

You need HOAs to prevent your neighbors from planting a yard full of palm trees. Some neighborhoods don’t allow them! -

I’m worried the snowpack will be quickly decimated this spring. We can’t afford a warm spring at this point. -

Wilderness peak is just a bit too far west I notice. Tiger Mountain is usually the dividing line and is far enough east to get fairly significant snows. Pretty much all the Hills above 1,000 feet east of Hwy 18 get significantly more snow in winter. -

I was about to say the same thing. Newport hills. ( I assume that is where he lives) is a bit to far west. Still does better than Seattle/Bellevue proper though. A 1,000 feet out here where I live gets significantly more snow. -

We’ve probably probably got close to an inch with this band. Pretty crazy how intense that was. -

Ravensdale had 30+ inches in 2019. There was a strong cut off a few miles west.
