  1. Overcast with light showers throughout the day. Super refreshing and cool outside. Currently 52F. The evening is setting up for another beautiful sunset!
  2. Vancouver's waterfront is such a neat new district. I am excited to see a new city skyline grow in the Pacific Northwest! I took photos year ago of the little skyline they used to have, but it's growing to new heights now. My main concern is how it is disconnected from the downtown, and the downtown's businesses won't thrive because it's too far away. People won't mingle. Maybe over the years, it will all become the "downtown" and not be separated. Hope you had fun, nice photos!
  3. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen. Certainly the best this year. Dark ominous clouds mixed with an orange sky led to deep blue/purple clouds that contrasted beautifully. So much natural saturation in the sky. Current temp is 52F in Everett.
  4. Very promising forecast! 60s, 50s, rain, and some low 70s for Everett!
  5. 61F and cloudy. A few hours ago a rain squall blew in, everything got kinda foggy and it started to rain, then rain mist and it cleared up after to just cloud skies. Fun weather watching!
  6. Everett forecast is showing some days having highs only in the 50s! Sound the alarms! Otherwise 60s, cool, cloudy, and some rain! I approve!! It didn't get close the projected 78F today. Hit 71F.
  7. Tons of wildfires in Canada. They are out of control and I worry that all the smoke amassing up there might make it down to the west coast in due time. I sure hope not. Right now all models showing it blow eastward for much of the week. Smoke is east of the Cascade crest though, but more at higher elevations. Thankfully not ground level. Wildfire wise, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California look pretty good right now. But it's quite literally HECK in Canada. Over 440 known fires with the majority not being dealt with by any crews. When I do my annual fire reports, we saw the last few years, British Columbia does next to no forest management to prevent these fires.
  8. I got nothing to match the beautiful photos posted today. It was cloudy this morning and only hit 58F until the clouds burned off and it warmed up to 65F here in Everett. Now it is a beautiful evening, blue skies, and now the sunset is coming. We're at almost 9pm and the sun hasn't even set yet! My gosh.
  9. Beautiful day out there after some much needed showers. Here's a pretty view of Bellevue. That skyline has changed so much the past fifteen years. Looking at it, you'd never know it's a city of only 140,000. Washington has another beautiful city skyline on the list.
  10. I forgot to mention, it's 57F degrees at my house right now. Feels very nice. The extended forecast looks promising too! Boo-yah! Low 70s and mostly 60s with rain! I love that! We really need rain. It's been so dry recently.
  11. Wasn't forecasted to rain beyond Friday, but it rained most of Saturday. Drove down to Renton, it was pouring down rain. Traffic is horrible there. 1 hour and eleven minutes from Renton's Southgate exit to downtown Bellevue. Glad I don't do that run often.
  12. The smoke from Canada is awful along the eastern seaboard. It is oddly worse in New York City compared to Toronto. Images below. Smoke is clearly visible in this live cam view of Toronto. But New York City look like burnt soup. Hazardous area is being reported across the region. New York City has an AQI of 405. Bridgeoport 242. Trenton 224. Jersey City 214. Philadelphia 164. Toronto has an AQI of 142. Ottawa 185. Montreal 19. It is purely dependent on the direction of the winds. As one can see on the map below.
  13. 67F degrees with an expected high of 78F. I am not sure we will reach that high today. It's also overcast.
  14. 10-day forecast looks good for Everett. Wish we had some rain... Nothing too hot expect for Wednesday.
  15. Beautiful weekend! The Pacific Northwest is showcasing its best assets today at the NASCAR Xfinity race in Portland. Mount Hood in full view! First race here it poured down rain, but this time it's beautiful. All the drivers, broadcast group, have been singing the praises of how beautiful the region is! Absolutely love to see that! Fantastic racing too!
  16. This 10 day forecast for Everett looks pretty manageable and pleasant. It's just concerning how we've had no meaningful rainfall in quite awhile. So much sun, no rain. Snow pack is quickly melting and any gains we had made are quickly melting.
  17. Going to be nice weather when the NASCAR Xfintiy Series returns to Portland International Raceway for the second time this weekend. The first race last year was in the pouring rain, but fans showed up in mass. Can't wait to see the fan turnout and the racing on a dry racetrack!
  18. The begins to set on a glorious Memorial Day. Hope everyone had a good one. Tipped 67F here in Everett today and it was absolutely beautiful.
  19. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful Memorial Day. Beautiful, sunshine, and 66F here in Everett. Cool breeze and lovely.
  20. If Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano does fully blow, I wonder what implications is could have on our climate? We theorized what other's have may have done, giving us cooler periods in the PNW. Hopefully people there have had plenty of time to get away.
  21. I recall models being posted here about a week ago predicted it to be in the 70s and 80s through much of Western Washington. Luckily temps will be cooler. Everett is showing mid 60s starting Saturday through the whole rest of the week and next week.
  22. I posted these in the wrong thread two days ago and figured you'd like to see them here. Some pretty clouds and sky that night. I found the clouds unique. I forgot their name. Completely opposite to the rain and wind tonight.
  23. Absolutely loving the weather out there tonight. It's 49F, raining, windy (I can hear the wind chimes) and all around stormy. It feels like an autumn or winter stormy evening.
  24. Some pretty clouds and sky tonight. I found the clouds unique. I forgot their name.
