Radar is pretty good but it seems just a bit too warm. The west hills had some snow
-
Looks like it's about 35/36 here. I don't think it'll stick until maybe later but hoping for some good snow in the air! The mesoscale models look pretty good for tomorrow morning
-
Starting to snow now as well
-
Looks like it's snowing nicely to the west
-
NAM is similar
-
HRRR still looks really good here with some organized precip tomorrow morning
-

I started changing to snow under some really heavy precip a few minutes ago. Slowed down a bit now but definitely splats on the windshield
-
Yeah, raining pretty decently right now and 38 degrees

NAM switches most of the Willamette Valley over to snow tomorrow morning. East Portland does really well too

Tomorrow looks really fun on the HRRR. Snowing during the afternoon and through Friday morning
-
Looks like they got hit by some thunderstorms as well. And now they're supposed to see snow tonight with a low of 23!
-
Yeah, I don't remember having much strong south wind these past few years. We've had some big east wind storms though. 12/22/22 brought some power outages here and 1/13/24 was extremely intense, strongest east wind I've seen here, I'm surprised we kept power. There's a house nearby that unfortunately got crushed by a big tree during that.

Snowing again
-
Snowing here as well. Temp dropped from 42 quickly
-
Looks like it snowed a bit overnight, some slush on cars and dirt. The west Hills also have some snow at the top
-
Nice snowfall on this day 5 years ago. About 2.5", with a little bit more the next few days. It was nice to get something after getting none on 2/9
-
HRRR looks amazing for Washington County and the Portland area. Bands of heavy snow from Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning with temps dropping to 32/31. Drops 5" of snow here
-
HRRR also shows a good bit of snow for Portland area, temps are good too, about 4" here
-
Euro shows this nice system Friday night/Saturday morning for NW Oregon

It was really a great storm. And the sun + subfreezing high on Feb 23rd was great. Also I enjoyed watching your forecast videos going up to that event, they were very detailed and informative

Started snowing around this time a year ago. At this point parts of Portland already had received a foot of snow, so I was bit disappointed when we had 2" from the first wave and precip stopped. But then some extremely heavy snow overnight brought us up to 6-7" of powdery snow. And then a subfreezing high on the 23rd! 20230222_170815.mp4 20230222_170815.m
