  1. I used climate dataset from PRISM (oregon state university) a few years ago to build this map of avg annual snowfall for those interested (legend in mm)
  2. 30.3F, snowplow came, lousy smarch weather
  3. Elevation obviously makes a ton of difference (3.5F per 1000 ft lapse rate) but skykomish at 1000ft gets way more snow than I do!

  5. I drove through that band on I-5 heading N from Tacoma. A bit o lush on hiway in federal way. Was coming down hard. Beat the snow band before it got here
  6. Snowing w the incoming disturbance, maybe some convergence will provide an assist tonite.

  9. front just passed through. With temp drop and wind shift to W. Should be snow by 7 am per UW 1.3 km wrf gfs… will see
  10. Seems like east side will get some snow accumulation.
