Better resolution sorry

I used climate dataset from PRISM (oregon state university) a few years ago to build this map of avg annual snowfall for those interested (legend in mm)

30.3F, snowplow came, lousy smarch weather

Elevation obviously makes a ton of difference (3.5F per 1000 ft lapse rate) but skykomish at 1000ft gets way more snow than I do!

Snowing hard now!

I drove through that band on I-5 heading N from Tacoma. A bit o lush on hiway in federal way. Was coming down hard. Beat the snow band before it got here
